Day 1: Shkoder via Kruje You’ll begin your journey from Tirana, from where you’ll travel directly to the city of Kruja.Set off on a guided tour of Dollma Bektashi Teqe, discovering the surroundings and the castle itself, the Skanderbeg Museum, and the Ethnographic Museum. You’ll have free time to wander around the Old Bazaar, which is complete with beautiful cobblestone alleys and lovely old architecture. Following a short drive from the city of Shkodra, you’ll head for lunch in Shiroke. This small town on the lake is well–known by locals for its fish cuisine, tranquility, and natural beauty. Enjoy the amazing views and the fascinating history of the Rozafa Fortress, before exploring Shkoder throughout a guided tour. You’ll visit the Old Town, St. Stephen’s Catholic Cathedral, the Ebu Bekr Mosque, and Pedonalja Street (the beating heart of Shkodra).
Day 2: Theth via Boge & Qafe Thore Transfer to Theth in the morning, where en route you will stop in the mountain village of Boge to enjoy a coffee break surrounded by mountains. One last stop before reaching Theth will be to Qafe Thore, which is a peak and a mountain crossing. There you will have the option to take a short hike towards a mountain lodge for shepherds. Later, enjoy lunch whilst taking in one of the best views there is in the north. Following that, get settled in the guesthouse in Theth and enjoy a relaxing afternoon before a rustic dinner with a glass or two of Raki.
Day 3: The Village, The Blue Eye of Theth & Grunas Waterfall and Canyon Your third day will be spent exploring the Theth National Park. Whilst there you can marvel at the views and sounds of the Grunas Waterfall and canyon, and enjoy a refreshing bath and picnic lunch in the natural pools and the Blue Eye of Theth. You’ll later head out in the afternoon for a walking tour of the village to discover a 4-century-old tower and a 100–year–old well-preserved church.
Day 4: Tirana via Mrizi i Zanave Agrotourism Celebrate your morning with breakfast, before transferring to what is considered the best restaurant and Agrotourism in the country. With its countryside settings in the village of Fishte and its Albanian slow food excellence, you will spend a couple of hours visiting the surrounding area whilst tasting the best Albanian food there is. Your tour will later conclude as you transfer to Tirana in the afternoon.
